PRODUCING & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Lisa Marie Trump
Unlimited & London 2012 Festival

Unlimited was a three year project, encouraging collaborations and partnerships between disability arts organisations, disabled and deaf artists, producers and mainstream organisations.  Supported by LOCOG, Arts Council England and the British Council, the works ranged from large outdoor arts events for the Paralympic Opening Ceremony, to carnival,  dance, digital media, circus, theatre and visual arts.  Disability arts organisation: Shape, won the contract to run the delivery and production administration of all 29 commissions - overseen by Lisa Marie Trump as Programme Director.   The commissions aimed to celebrate the inspiration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and to create original and exciting works. Twenty-nine Unlimited Commissions were awarded with five being developed through international collaborations including Brazil, South Africa, Germany, Japan and China.  Showcased all over the UK and overseas, the project culminated with the UnlimitedFestival at London's Southbank Centre.  Visit unlimited.southbankcentre.co.uk for more information

Royal Shakespeare Company

The Royal Shakespeare Company’s production and world premiere of Irish playwright Marina Carr’s new play, The Cordelia Dream, was described as "a shining example of Shakespearean verve" - new writing inspired by Shakespeare. With the RSC’s major productions in full swing in the West End, this innovative piece contrasted that by being presented at Wilton's Music Hall - an intimate venue in the depths of the East End of London.

As Costume Supervisor, Lisa Marie Trump project-managed the costume production and coordination for The Cordelia Dream.

Lisa also co-ordinated production elements of over 100 plays and tours in the UK and worldwide for the Royal Shakespeare Company, as Department Co-ordinator for The Complete Works Festival and the RSC repertoire for nearly four years.

Shape in the City

Delivered in partnership with some of the UK's leading artists and arts organisations, Shape In The City launched in 2012 as an 8 week festival celebration of film, theatre, sculpture, prints, paintings, video, performance art and installations by the UK's leading disabled artists.

Project-managed by Lisa Marie Trump, it featured over 130 artworks by more than 30 artists and was the largest single festival of art by disabled artists ever.

Shape in the City was also unique in being housed in a high-profile pop up venue of over 60,000 sq ft across 5 floors, in the heart of the City of London.  The success of the festival resulted in the venue remaining open to the public as a gallery presenting visual arts in 2D, 3D, digital and live durational performance art.
